There's Mischief Behind That Innocent FaceThe Missing Eyeglasses 
My brother John was born with a serious eye problem that required surgery and the early wearing of eyeglasses. The following incident happened when he was about three years old.
It was a summer morning and my mother was washing dishes at the kitchen sink when she noticed that something was wrong. My brother John was outside playing, but his big black framed glasses were no longer on his face. Some things stand out when they are not there, especially when they are expensive. Mom immediately went out to the backyard and asked him where his glasses were. His response lives on in our family reunions.
His response with the conviction of total seriousness was ‘they took them.’ Mom inquired, ‘who took them?’
“The men in the space ship.” He said.
Again, mom inquired, ‘John, where are your glasses?’
John, with the firmness of absolute truth, said, the men in the space ship, flew down into the back yard, took my glasses, and then flew away.
When mom asked what would they want with your glasses? He responded, “I don’t know, they didn’t say.”
After a thorough search of the inside of the house and backyard by the entire family, John’s eyeglasses were never found. Hmmm, is it possible that aliens really did need John glasses to read the inter-galactic maps in order to return home?
Others in the family think that the aliens really did take John for a ride and robbed him of more than his glasses.
