     Custer, John Gordon       

 

  
      

           

John is the son of Charles and Mae (Cecil) Custer.  He enlisted in the Army at the age of 17 years.  He was stationed at Fort Hood, in Kileen, Texas.  For a time John was the driver for Col. Roberts.  He was also the Armer for the company,  he qualified for all of the weapons.  This is all the data I have to date.

  

     Custer, William Arthur

     

Bill is the son of Charles and Mae (Cecil) Custer.  Bill enlisted into the Army after high school.  He was sent to Germany and attained the rank of Sgt. at the time of his discharge.  While in the service he was injured in a Jeep accident that almost killed him.  At this time this is all the data I have on his service.

     Nielsen, James Myron

      

Jim is the son of Vernon and Erma (Cecil) Nielsen.

      Cecil, Lawrence Edward

       

Larry is the son of Elmer 'Bud' and Patricia (Moss) Cecil.  Have just received list of Larry's service medals/ribbons.  Will get them organized and listed in proper format for the site and added at a later date.


Robinson, Michael J.

Corp. Michael J. Robinson US Marine Corp., son of William and Beverly Robinson, enlisted 1971 in Flint, MI. Boot camp- San Diego, Calif. Spent 1 year in Norfolk, Virginia. Military Police training school at Ft.Gordon, Georgia from January 1972-March 1972. His enlistment was during the last part of the Vietnam War. He spent the last two years of service at Fallbrook, Calif. military weapons base from Oct. 1972 to Oct. 1974.

     Custer, Deborah Jean 

        

Deborah enlisted in Detroit, MI on 15 January 1980.  She was stationed at Fort Lenoard Wood, Missouri, 1st Platoon, Company A, 3rd BT Bde.  While in the Army she took a course and became a Veterinary Specialist.  She also qualified on the M-16 and qualified for the Hand Grenade badge. She is the daughter of Charles and Mae (Cecil) Custer.

     Patterson, Kenneth David

     

     Baker, Charles Arthur

     

Chuck is the eldest son of Carrol and Laura (Custer) Baker.

  Baker, Carl   

Carl is the son of Carrol and Laura (Custer) Baker.  I don't have any additional data on Carl's military service, but on a personal note I have to say that he was my favorite cousin.  I always remember him as being extremely kind to me.  Carl forever had a smile on his face and something nice to say about everyone.
